Back In Oregon!
~~~
Goat Memory Page
~~~~~
My Sara and Her Boys
A few days before I left the ranch I took fresh pictures of my goats. Sara patiently waited her turn and smiled for the camera. Lucky me caught her Chocolate Son playing King Of The Mountain on Mom. Frosted Ears relaxed with some fresh alpha in the shade on a bed of pine needles. Such is the live of a goat on a Miserably Hot Day at the ranch
I made this LO for Darlene Haughin July Clutter It Challenge at SAS. It so happened that her Free QP matched the colors in my new kit "Country Girl" Scroll down and see the Preview. All I need is 3 more kits to go and I will search out a store to sell them in. Today I made a Paper Butterfly for the kit and I had made a Metal Brad to add to the kit when I made this Goat Memory Page. Speaking of my new kit I have seen some Totally Cool Memory Pages I never thought possible made with "Country Girl" My Friends are Awesome. Sneak Peeks are Fun. ;0)

Aleene Goat Memory Page
~~~~~
Another Memory Page From "In The Yard" by Mitsybelle. Well it isn't such a new kit now I have gotten way behind. She has another Cool Kit out called "In The Den" and it is still On Sale! Back to this Sweet Sweet Memory Page!!! It is Called June Flowers. The Stars of this LO are Aleene the Headliner. Truffles in the Supporting Role and Triscut is our Character actress today.
Aleene Loves to pet the Goats and always heads for the Kids. Since Snickers has gone into I don't need Humans Mood. Well that is unless it is Feeding Time. .. Aleene had to find another Goat to Pet. Believe me she Gave It Her All, Hiking all over the hillside to pet them.
If you are looking at this memory page scratching your head thinking how did she do that. Well Truffles is a clipping mask on a flower from the kit. The Photo matte is a paper from the kit Clipped onto an enlarged flower. The Frame is just pushed and pulled until I liked the shape. The Font is "Cafe Rojo" That has been all Squished and Stretched with a Little Style Here and a Little Style There. The Title has also been Drop Shadowed and Duplicated to get the layered effect.
I Have Been Very Busy
~~~~~~
Plus More Memory Pages
~~~~~~~Been To The Beach
~~~~
I got to wiggle my toes in the sand. Curly dug a mote around me so my feet sank in the sand down to where my feet where covered in water. It felt soooo good!!!! I also got to camp in my truck in the Coastal Mountains. I really had Great Fun visiting another lone camper and his fire. ;0)
Love Those Camp Fires. Rushed Home For Babies
~~~~~
Rusty and Sara became parents on Fathers Day. Poor Sara had 2 Bucklings and a Still Born. They were all sick when I got to the Ranch on Tuesday. I am Happy to say that they are all doing much better now. Wow the babies are Growing So Fast Already. All the Goats have belly aches from the drastic temperature changes & a change from wet cob to dry cob. oops.
Made 2 Memory Pages
~~~~~
The 2 memory pages you see here are made from a Pretty Kits by Skrapper Digitals. It is called Natures Spring and there are many other kits on Skrapper Digitals line that are in the same color palette. I used everything straight from the kit except for recoloring the journal box on the Goat LO. My pages would of popped out really quick if I had not done so many Goat Extractions. LOL Just couldn't help my self. The font is SC Fat and Lazy by Deb The Scrapin Cop. The Title I had a little more extra fun with by taking the same font and running an atomic cupcake action on it. I think it is So Cute!
Run on over and Grab this fun kit full of Flowers and other Goodies.
You will find Natures Spring only at SAS

Big Thank You
~~~~~
Busy Busy Busy
~~~~~~
First a Big Thanks to all that left Comments for my first mini kit!!! It was fun Reading what parts you liked in the kit.

Things Are Hopping For Me!
~~~~~~
It has been a long week and a Long Weekend! The Ranch has found a little bit of peace with the addition of a New Doe and her 2 very young kids! Yup I hope to finish a Memory page of their first day here using Mitsybelles Newest Cute kit Paper Scraps II. My son and I took a little drive last night to send Carmel and Lambie off to a New Home more suited to their personalities! Camel's Son was very yummy after a Good Rubbing of Herbs and Slow BBQ. Camel's Daughter Snickers is settling in to her new situation after much love from George and I. Poor Liitle Snickers thought she might try being a dog but changed her mind when we wouldn't let her stay in the house when she snuck in. LOL. I sent her on her merry way OUTSIDE!!! But to the rescue came Sara who took Snickers under her Loving Care in the Pasture where Goats belong. Before Sarah took Snickers in she spent time with all the other goats including her Daddy. But her biggest adventure was riding in the Kawasaki Mule from which she saw most of the 9 acre's she lives on. Snickers enjoyed sleeping on the covered front porch at my feet. Eating delicacy such as our lawn, rose bushes, grape vines, black berries vines etc.... Pictures of Snickers getting to know Curly and Cody better are hiding in the camera that is hiding where the last photographer left it.
I Am In The SAS Spotlight
~~~

A Memory Page From Scratch
~~~~
Getting Closer To Being a Designer
~~~~I have been working at this memory page for a while now. Tonight while I was finishing up that teedious task of clean up the HD, EHDs and all those pesky BUs I didn't get rid of when I BU again. LOL. Well I came accross this cute little pony that Melynda made me. Then I remembered this picture from just a short while ago. Of course a light came on as I thought about those mommies that prompted me to make a Goat Story Book. So out popped this finished page!
~~~~
Do You Want To Make This Page?
~~~~
I am in the Spotlight of the SAS Newsletter & my gifted to you is everything you need to put your kids in the pasture with my kids! Thats right all you have to do is go read the SAS Newsletter grab my QP from the link. Then plop the Quick Page in your program. Set your extracted picture where you want it. Grab one of 2 grass pngs that comes in the kit. Set the grass on your child. Grab a blending brush set to 300 and brush away at the top of the grass, so it looks like they are really in the pasture. That is it! So Easy and Fun! You will have a Story Book Page of your own! Have Fun With It!! By the way the Goats have names.. The little girl in the front is Carmel, the little girl in the upper right running is Pecan (my Avatar) & the boy on the top of the mountain flying the kite is Rusty. Papa to the kids you have seen in the last few memory pages. Pecan is yet to become a mommy. But I am sure you will see them when she does.
~~~~
Another Designing Step
~~~~
All these years I have taken photos and others art work and shoveling and messing with them to make my memory pages. I always thought it would be cool to Design my own kits. But didn't want to spend the time making all those elements from scratch. I mean really from scratch LOL. Oh this last week I have learned so much about how these things come together in easy peazy ways that blow what I was doing away!!!! LOL Awh but nothing beats a good element made totally from scratch. So back to today. After recoloring a Grey scale Ribbon on Saturday. Today I thought I would try layering a Grey Flower. So I grabbed a CU Flower from Jodi Watson & some Tissue Paper from Scrappin Cop and started Playing. This is what I made. I think it is pretty cool for my first one! But when I went to show it off it look so lonely. So I dropped my grass from the page above and then disected a vintage stick pin from Skrapper Digitals. Now my 1st Flower looks so Pretty Dancing on my Blog. LOL. Sorry not sharing this today. But the time will come when I will have a nice Freebie for you!Yes I do Copyright everything that goes on this blog. So Greedy Collecters Beware!

Easter At The Ranch LO
~~~
Major SAS Party
~~~Teddy and Al were hanging out on the lawn at the Granny House one day when I was taking pictures of our repairs. I was thrilled with how Great they turned out. That Teddy is Really learned to Smile for the camara. His Dad isn't that bad either. LOL I liked all Teddy's looks so much I just had to make it a 2 Page Memory Page. It's another mITSYBELLE Kit called Wishful Thinking. I enjoyed working with this kit again & was surprised at how well it went with these photos!
Here are the Kids at the Ranch on Easter. Cody just Loves the Babies
This Memory Page was inspired by the SASy self Challenge at SAS. EllenM has a Wonderful PB for doing this Challenge. Besides it is hard to resist a Grown man Lovin any kind of baby. Mitsybelle just came out with this Kit Sweet Mama and it was perfect for these photos.

The SAS Template Challenge has been taken over by Kimberkatt. This is my version of the template. I used Season's End by Mitsybelle a relatively new kit. This is a kit with many pretty elements and papers.
