Here is the website to get info on the Fire Near our Ranch.
To Close for comfort when the winds kick up.
All the official reporting in on top of the page.
Comments from locals observing from their homes farther down.
Many people offering to help.
Second Link is a Wild land Fire Fighters Thread. More accurate information there

This fire is just a few miles from my horses & goats as the crow files
I can't seem to kick my normal seizure cycle so I can drive down and get the livestock out.

Tomorrow there will be no truck to pull the horse trailer because Georges car is down and needs the truck to drive to work. I feel so helpless. I know that if the fire goes through the Firefighters will at least open the gates and let the livestock loose. We have been told I place is very fire safe and one place they will head in a firestorm so it is meant to be God will protect us.
BTW this is a Great Link to get info on fires all over the US. They have a wonderful system for keeping up with the information.

Freebie QP 8x8
~~~~
Kona Memory Page
~~~
Oakridge Yard
~~~
Today in my bits and pieces of time I thought I would spruce up that Heritage LO I made using my New Kit Country Girl. When it was all said and done I revamped 2 elements that I hope to share with you tomorrow in a Frame Cluster. As I took a gander at the finished QP I had to put horsey pictures in it. It so happened that Kona became the subject so the bow turned from pink to Blue. The font I used was from The Scrappin Cop and it is called messy paint.
Here Is Today's Goody.
Come Back Tomorrow for this Cluster Frame
I am just do excited about finally building a kit that I have signed up for the Next Sassy Lady Contest at SAS. The competition is already shaping up to be Big and Talented! Be Sure to head over there and read all about it in the Forum all those free kits will be coming your way come September!
Sprucing Up In Oakridge
Our Back Yard project has come down to a slow crawl. It takes 2 days to build up the rock wall and plant 1 Hedge Bush. Here I am with 2 plantings and it is time to head back to California to wait the birth of my Grand Son. I figure the other 4 plants will be dead by the time I get back and maybe the 2 I planted because they will probably not get enough water. My tractor is off to the mechanic to have the vandalism repaired and to give me a worry free time away. I hope to move the last little pile of dirt and spread the last little bit of rock to make a no trip surface before I leave. We will see what DGS has to do with that. My journey back in the new car begins Wednesday or Thursday. Just a drop in the bucket for the 7500 miles I need to drive before George Gets It. Some day this Merry Go Round will end and I will get to stay put with my animals and live happily ever after.
A Sneak Peek Memory Page
~~~~~~~~~~~~Well I just drop in for a Quickie Post.
I just had to show off this cute 12x12 LO I made with the kit I am working on called "Country Girl". Thanks to KimberKatt at SAS I stopped to make a memory page. The Template is from her July Challenge. It is another cute one! Here is the skinny on my LO. This is my Morgan that taught me all about the English Riding Ways. He also Gave me the Love of Flight. That Boy was a Retired Level 3 Dressage Horse, but I believe his favorite must of been the Three Day Event. He did it all Western Please, English and Back Country Trail Riding. I heard in his youth he spend some time on a Cattle Ranch, but delighted in attending horse shows with his side kick a teenage girl. Tele passed away at the age of 24 and we were blessed to have him his last 12 years.
