Memory Page Of Georges Folks
~~~~
Aleene & Tuffy
While Sending some photos to Georges Family I came across this Photo and Photo Back. Yup you got it I scan in the backs of Photos that Have Writing. It is such a simple way of saving that important info and a Fun way to include hand writing of those we love that are no longer with us. I recognize this writing as Aleenes. Back to the LO. I saw this picture and remembered how much Aleene Loved our horses. This being the case it was only natural to use my new Kit Country Girl to save these photos in a form that I can print and put in a 8x8 album with the other photos of Georges mother.
Guest CT For SKrapper Digitals
~~~
A Heritage Memory Page
Featuring The Father & The Mother
of George Fertig

~~~
There are more Aleene Fans out there then Tuffy fans so I am placing Aleene First After all this Husband Came First. LOL See below next memory page for credits.
This Memory Page is a little different then the ones I normally create. No photo touch up on these old photos. The reason is the wear and grime show how much Aleene Cherished this little keepsake that she kept in her dressor. Sometimes dust bunnies and fly poo tell a story all by themselves. I wish I could remember his name. If you now it please email me. Thank You. It would be cool if someone from his life popped in to say Hi!
Well I have done it now! I have joined another CT. At least as a Guest CT. I just Love Skrapper Digitals Style and Sherah is so Sweet, Not to Mention she has her own Digi Design Academy. Which I have been attending at a Very Slow Pace. LOL But I am learning quite a bit of technical stuff. LOL
On to my First Memory Page for Sherah. I picked one of her oldest kits at SAS "A Treasured Past" Funny thing is the picture I was thinking about scrapping with it did not jump on the page. LOL These ones did. LOL I had fun making the large photo frame from one of the kits papers and adding the rough metal style from my CS3 program. Gotta Love Photo shop & all its buttons LOL To make that B&W pic pop off that frame I add another style, the stroke which I colored grey. Cool isn't it! I guess I should touch up those prints but not today. The rest of this page is just a matter of Layering Goodies from the kit and adding all those drop shadows that make it all come together. Oh I bet you are wondering what that cute Font on the tag is........ Messy Paint by Scrappin Cop! The journal font is Distressed Typewriter. Ok for you family members out there. The journaling is not written in stone so it can be changed. George says it sounds like that is his Uncle Charlie with his dad but we will check it out a little more later. As far as the photo location that is my guess and if you know better let me know I am happy to change it. ;o) In that respects if you are a Smith or a Fertig and have Stumbled across my blog drop me a line I have many more photos to share and not much info. Not to mention I do miss the Smiths.
Sunday NSD Memory Page
~~~Here is the Memory Page I made after I woke up this morning. I was taking a Drop Shadow Class at ACOT (Find The Thread in the Form under Resources) The frame that is a freebie for the Class is the only item that is from Fishin Designs. The Doodle Brush used to Frame the Journal Box is from Scrappin Cop. Every Thing Else is from Mitsybelle.
Stick Pen = Altered Stick from Green Elegance; Paper, Ribbon, Flowers = Begin Again
Enjoy Carmels Kids at the tender age of 2 1/2 weeks

I have a Memory Page for toaday only because I haven't gone to bed yet. But I am working on it. It seems I have plugged up am computer from all that surfing LOL so While I am running the Disk cleanup Program I am Blogging. :o)
This Memory Page was made for the Fast Scrap at ACOT this morning. I bearly got it finished in time. Of course these rushed LOs never make me happy. I like most of the things about this one though. Just needs some Finishing touches. I am not a Big fan of White Space. So a Bigger photo will probably end up on here or a photo cluster. It just seems like a lot of wasted space on the shelves to have Memory Pages with just one picture, unless there is a large amount of Journaling. I love the colors on this LO. Everything came from my friend Jan. From Waite For The Moment Designs. The Pretty Green paper is from Basic Heritage. Everything else is from Vintage Garden. I received both kits Free today for playing nice over at Moo Two Designs. The ribbons is a CU Freebie at the MooTwoDesigns Blog this Week. These Ribbon are easy to color and look very nice. I am Glad I went to the Chat and Speed Scrap over There today. BTW that Dark green paper in this LO is the Same Paper in the 4x6 LO of the Dogs in yesterdays Post. I am beginning to see why I have these folders of unfinished LOs from ACOT. Hmmm is it really Fun or just Stressful.
